COTA ( Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

River Ridge Rehabilitation is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated rehab team. This position provides the chance to make a meaningful difference by helping patients regain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Available position (Temporary)

(Coverage for maternity leave beginning at the end of April and extending 20-22 weeks).

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed OT

Assist patients with ADLs, functional mobility, and therapeutic activities

Document treatments and patient progress accurately and promptly

Communicate patient status and progress to the OT and interdisciplinary team

Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited OTA program

Current New York State COTA license

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred (new grads welcome)
