David Evans & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Surveyor to work with our Surveying and Geomatics team in Kansas.
Our Surveying and Geomatics team seamlessly merges tradition with cutting‑edge technology. We offer a comprehensive suite of geomatics services, from aerial LiDAR and topographic surveys to construction surveys and BIM modeling. We prioritize clear communication and integrate client vision with technical expertise to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets for a variety of survey projects
Perform research and calculations in multiple jurisdictions
Lead QA/QC for deliverables across boundary, control, and construction‑related surveys
Build and maintain client relationships within the region
Coordinate with other DEA business units on integrated project delivery
Mentor and support field and office staff to advance their development within the profession
Required Qualifications
Kansas Professional Land Surveyor license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
Ability to independently manage projects and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Experience mentoring junior staff and directing technical work
Proficiency with CAD and land surveying software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads)
Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
Compensation Potential salary range: $42.00/hr – $52.00/hr. The posted salary range represents the typical range for this position and is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
