Wholesale Title clerk & Accounting clerk
The Wholesale Title clerk/Accounting clerk supports the day-to -day processing of vehicle titles, tags, and related paperwork. This role assists with tracking funded deals, maintaining accurate title records, and supporting both the accounting and title team. This position also helps communicate with lenders, customers and internal departments to ensure title work is completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities
Process daily tag bills and prepare payments for the tag agency
Prepare and process title work for auction and CarMax transactions
Maintain accurate record for used vehicle inventory titles
Communicate with financial institutions to obtain title status updates
Assist the Title Clerk with preparing title work packages for deals
Review and clean up tag schedules
Submit weekly reports for any tag work exceeding 25 days, including explanations
Create end-of-month tag and title chargeback reports as needed
Assist customers in person and over the phone with title-related questions
Issue metal and paper tags to Finance Closers and maintain accurate logs
Report issued paper tags to the state
Review and follow up on missing metal tags
Provide support with incoming calls when accounting department experiences high call volume
other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Adhere to Headquarter Toyota's dress code policy
Previous experience in automotive titling or dealership accounting preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred
Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment
Must be flexible with schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
