Summary of Position Perform electrical installations as well as troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of various automated manufacturing processes. Responsible for implementing new software for various PLC’s and motor control devices
Essential Functions
Repair, maintain, and install a wide variety of equipment used to support the building and the factory with and/or without assistance and/or direction from others.
Assist with line troubleshooting activities and identification of root cause, corrective actions.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems on production equipment.
Install new equipment, modifications, or upgrades.
Install, repair, and replace temperature controls, solid state controls, programmable logic controllers, HMI’s, MMI’s, position sensors, servo systems, AC and DC electrical motors and motor controllers, transformers, disconnects, and distribution panels
PLC programming with expertise in data bit manipulation.
Layout and construction of machine control panels.
Development and installation of various motor drive systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant and manufacturing equipment following schedules and procedures.
Qualifications
MUST have previous PLC experience.
5-10 years’ experience – Manufacturing Environment
Education preferred – 2 year technical electrical/mechanical degree
