About the role:
This position supports the Medical Director and the Palliative Care Department staff in a variety of administrative functions. The Administrative Associate III ensures departmental records, communications, and quality improvement data are managed accurately and efficiently within the acute‑care teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the medical director and department staff.
Manage departmental activity database and patient records.
Handle bereavement program correspondence and activity records.
Coordinate office phone activity and messages.
Schedule and coordinate multiple meetings; prepare minutes and maintain meeting records.
Facilitate community education programs and activities.
Maintain family satisfaction survey results and data entry for departmental quality improvement activities.
Attributes for Success
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access); accurate data entry.
Positive interpersonal skills with diverse patients and families experiencing difficult situations.
Professional demeanor when interacting with the public and other professionals.

Qualifications • 2‑ or 4‑year degree preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable with a minimum of three years of prior administrative assistant experience.
