2,866/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Cath Lab Registered Nurse
to join our cardiovascular team. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and education.
Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures by monitoring patient status and managing equipment.
Administer medications and sedation as ordered, ensuring patient safety.
Monitor vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures and recovery.
Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and assist with resuscitation efforts as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
Licensure:
Current RN license in [State].
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Critical Care or Cath Lab certification (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of critical care, telemetry, or Cath Lab experience (preferred).
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.
Skills & Competencies
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Strong clinical judgment and rapid decision-making skills.
