Position Summary The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for overseeing clerical duties within the facility and supporting the Maintenance staff by assisting with the day-to-day operations. This role will report to, and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on a consistent basis.
Essential Functions
Responsible for overseeing and controlling budgets
Performing all administrative tasks including responding to emails in a timely manner, phone communication, ensuring all documents/paperwork is properly filed…etc.
Enter and assign Purchase Orders into multi-company ERP system assigned to specific cost centers.
Manage inventory, pertaining to parts, and storage area, purchasing adequate maintenance materials for service requests and apartment turns, keeping an accurate log of supplies.
Follow all company policies.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
Frequent standing and walking
Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, etc.
Occasional carrying 5 to 50 pounds or more
Constant exposure to varying temperatures above 45 degrees and below
Exposure to chemicals used for brazing/welding as well as chlorine, etc.
Exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers, etc.
Works overtime as required
Education and Experience
High school graduate preferred
Experience in fresh food or production environment
2+ years of maintenance experience
Must be PC literate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial minded
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred)
Able to multi-task
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials
People skills, integrity, strong leadership skills, and able to adapt and grow in a changing industry.
Outstanding organizational skills.
