Unit Secretary
is responsible for, but not limited to: Responsibilities
Providing receptionist and secretarial services as well as maintaining par level of supplies and equipment within the department. Assisting in the efficient operation of the unit and relating to patients, staff, and physicians in a cooperative manner based on the philosophy of Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. Requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments. Providing support to ensure efficient operation of the department. Participating in and supporting the unit governing council. Participating as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires, and as requested others. Position Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent or experience as a unit secretary preferred but not required. CPR certification. Successful completion of medical terminology class preferred. Must be tactful and diplomatic at all times. Willing to accept responsibility and instructions. About Us
