Position Summary
A Shift Supervisor leads store staff when a manager is absent, ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and completion of all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions Management
Supervise the store’s crew, assigning tasks, directing work, and following up.
Effectively communicate information between store management and crews.
Customer Service
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Merchandise/Presentation
Price merchandise.
Stock shelves.
Execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
Maintain off-shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and respond to urgent store issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 29
Time Type Part time
Pay Range $17.92 - $26.92 per hour
