Safely deliver products to customers’ places of business or job sites within a maximum radius of the home branch Start and end deliveries at the branch with no overnight stays Operate in a safe manner and comply with DOT regulations while driving a commercial vehicle Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations Perform additional related duties, such as stocking, order entry, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse or delivery tasks Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver logs and truck performance forms Qualifications
Valid CDL License Safe driving record with no hit-and-runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus HAZMAT endorsement is an asset Basic computer knowledge Forklift experience is helpful Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and DOT physical Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $23.89 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs or commissions.
