Warehouse Material Handler – Ryder System, Inc. Location:

Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

Employment Type:

Full-time, permanent

Schedule:

2nd Shift, Wednesday - Saturday, 4:00 pm – 4:00 am (half day on Wednesday)

Pay:

$19.25 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour on second shift, $0.75 increase after 6 months. Weekly pay.

Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler to support distribution across the US, handling medical supplies and operating stand‑up forklifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

Valid forklift operator's license

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Team player in a diverse work environment

Professional relationship building across all levels of the organization

Highly thorough and dependable

Punctual with good attendance record

Initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Accuracy under pressure

Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

Ability to stand for long periods

Work using health and safety methods

Flexible schedule availability across shifts

Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting

Maintain performance measurement guidelines of the contract

Accurately pick, pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks

Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading

Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours

Perform other duties as assigned
