Warehouse Material Handler 1st Shift – Hagerstown, MD – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions
Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Warehouse Material Handler for first shift Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑3:30 pm. Pay weekly $21 per hour. On‑the‑job training, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, paid time off and other benefits start after 30 days.
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting. Accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading and unloading trucks. Document day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading. Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during the core shift. Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. High degree of initiative, accuracy, punctuality. Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand long periods, work a flexible schedule. Detail oriented, excellent follow‑up, able to work within a diverse environment. EEO Statement:
