Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler. Compensated $16.00/hr with overtime $24.00/hr. First Shift, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday with OT as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and operate warehouse equipment (sit‑down forklift, reach truck, order picker).
Perform cycle counting, maintain accurate picking and packing, audit and stage products.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
≥1 year of warehouse/powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
Detail‑oriented, punctual, dependable with good attendance.
Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, work a flexible schedule.
High accuracy and initiative under pressure.
