Assistant Manager – Domino’s

Primary Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the store during your shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations.
Follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time and set the example for the crew.
Staffing, paperwork, food management, schedule adherence, image and brand standards, customer service, attendance, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.
Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery to storage.
Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Daily equipment and facility cleaning.
Essential Functions & Skills
Accurate and rapid basic math ( addition, subtraction, multiplication, division ), including correct monetary change.
Strong written and verbal communication for processing orders over the phone and in person.
Motor coordination and rapid, accurate hand movements for order entry.
Typing/computer or touch‑screen operation.
Work Conditions
Occasional exposure to varying weather, temperature extremes and outdoor duties (trash removal).
In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90+°F; sudden temperature changes.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), fumigated areas and sharp edges.
Work in cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.
Physical Requirements
Standing most of the workday.
Walking short distances and short durations.
Lifting: bulk deliveries (up to 50 lb) via hand truck, stacking up to 72 in. high.
Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb each).
Pushing/Pulling trays on dollies (force up to 7.5 lb).
Climbing stairs/ladders infrequently for maintenance.
Stooping/bending up to 45 seconds per rhythm repeat; squatting and crouching occasionally.
Reaching in all directions continuously.
Frequent hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination, forearm and wrist force for pizza dough shaping.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
High attention to quality control standards and data analysis.
Decision‑making under stress and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with customers and staff.
