Mixing Operator

Position: Mixing Operator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $60,000.00-$67,000.00

Essential Job Functions

Operates various controls to automatically move materials to weighing, conveying, and/or mixing equipment.

Adds other ingredients to batches manually and with use of pumps and hoses.

Follows specifications for ingredient sequencing, batch timing, heating, cooling, etc.

Responsible for keeping accurate record of mixing activity.

Operates controls to transfer batches to hold tanks or fill directly into containers.

Performs various equipment washes and sanitizing as needed.

Performs duties of lower classified jobs as needed.

Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and observing all quality standards.

Operates and uses the following equipment: pumps, powered fork truck, hand pallet mover, scales, conveying systems, mixers hoses

Observe all plant and safety rules.

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

Previous chemical processing

Computer controls equipment

Forklift driving
