About the Company Restoration 1 of Texas Hill Country provides emergency property restoration services due to water, mold, fire, and odor damage. We are growing and searching for customer service-focused Restoration Technicians in the greater San Antonio area. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills to develop their career in an industry known for being recession-resistant!

A technician's primary responsibility is to execute and document all work related to water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or bio-hazard clean-ups under the direction of a Lead Technician.

Candidate Requirements

EXCELLENT Customer Service & Communication Skills (written & verbal)

Valid Driver’s License without a major violation

Dependable, Responsible, and Positive

Eager to learn, acquire new skills, and grow professionally

Able to lift 60 lbs. unassisted

Willingness to participate in After Hours On Call rotation

Experience Requirements

Restoration experience NOT Required

Customer service experience - Required

Water mitigation and mold remediation experience - Preferred

Construction experience - Preferred

IICRC Certifications - Preferred

Responsibilities

Provide Legendary Customer Service

Remove water from residential and commercial properties

Removal of damaged materials in structures: drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc.

Carrying, setting, and cleaning specialty drying equipment

Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and management

Participate in the "on-call" rotation for emergency service calls after hours and on assigned weekends.

Work independently and as a team

Responsible for the assigned vehicle, managing inventory on van and equipment care and maintenance

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time

Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects

Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
