Warehouse Associate Immediately Hiring

Position Description Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our Facility at Ryder in Etna, Ohio. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment. Benefits: $17.00 per hour Products handled: Retail items/clothes Equipment: Computer and scanner Warehouse positions pay each week On the job paid training Medical, dental, vision, 401 K, etc. (start at 30 days) Paid time off 401 K company match High‑valued stock at 15 % employee discount Additional employee discounts (tools, cars, hotels, electronics, cell phones, travel) Safety gear provided State of the art equipment and caring leadership Requirements: High‑school diploma or equivalent preferred Six months of related warehouse experience required (one year or more preferred) Experience operating powered industrial trucks (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and basic maintenance Operates manual or automated warehouse equipment (packaging line) if required Powered industrial truck certification Basic English reading, math, and safety work instructions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Data entry into WMS computer system Work overtime as assigned Build professional relationships at all levels Work independently and as a team member Self‑driven, flexible, fast‑paced environment Multi‑tasking, highly organized, excellent time management Detail oriented with follow‑up practices Important Note: Some positions require additional screening including employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records check and a road test, and/or customer background requirements. Responsibilities: Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials. Load/unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning accuracy; train dock employees on new procedures; secure facility at shift end; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping; perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage. Perform assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures, including handling materials within associated logical transactions. Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required. Participate in workgroup and team activities to improve warehouse operations and related business functions.
