Wax Finishing Team Lead
in our Patterns Business Center at our
Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility
located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. This position is responsible for ensuring the flow of work through a production area and making sure that quality parts are being produced in the quantities specified in the schedule. The
Wax Finishing Team Lead
role is a hand‑on out on the manufacturing floor working with the operators to train them on the proper and safe procedures for using equipment, inspection of parts and ensuring adherence to defined processes. The
Wax Finishing Team Lead
is responsible for identifying and documenting problems and where possible, solves any quick production problems to restore the flow path in the moment. This is a 1 st
Shift position Monday through Friday from 5:00 am – 2:00 pm. Responsibilities
Oversee activities on a shift to ensure standard processes are being followed and quality parts are being produced in accordance with the schedule. Managing resources accordingly to achieve the schedule. Shopfloor presence with focus on providing in‑the‑moment training and feedback related to safety, quality and productivity. Availability for overtime and weekend support. Back‑up shift trainer. Ensure efficient shift start‑up and shutdown. Ensure safe work practices and that all EHS policies and requirements are being followed. Be thoroughly familiar with department activity instructions. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Proficient in English language High School diploma, GED or equivalent of 5 years of inspection experience Able to pass an annual eye exam per Jaeger. Preferred Qualifications
Wax Finishing experience Bi‑lingual language (English and Spanish) Previous experience as a trainer, lead person or supervisor Experience working with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) About Us
