Unloader/Loader
Connect Staffing Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Loader and Unloader for a furniture company located in Puyallup, Washington.
Minimum experience
– 3 years previous experience as a loader/unloader in a warehouse setting.
Shift:
1st shift – Monday to Saturday, 4:30 am start time (overtime will vary).
Pay Base pay: $23.50 per hour – $23.50 per hour.

Qualifications
Minimum of three years previous experience as a loader/unloader manually
Ability to exert in excess of 100 lbs. of force occasionally, 50 lbs. of force frequently, and 20 lbs. of force constantly
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Capability to lift 35–50 lbs. from floor to waist, 50–80 lbs. from waist to shoulders, and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Frequent handling of loads over 50 lbs.
Flexibility to rotate to other work areas, departments, or zones as required
Must pass a drug test and background check
English speaking required
Experience with palletizing, general labor, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations is a plus
Responsibilities
Follow verbal or written instructions, such as bills of materials, shipping documents, or production schedules
Safely move and stack materials throughout the warehouse, staging area, trailers, etc.
Manually load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles by hand
Often work extended periods moving/loading materials or finished goods by hand
Use of bar code readers, computer terminals, or other electronic devices to track product (may be required)
