The WCC is looking for an eager person to fill an entry-level position. You will learn and gain experience in SC state government and workers’ compensation.
Job Responsibilities
You will answer phone calls, research and respond to inquiries from the public, staff, claimants, attorneys, and carriers for the department.
You will be responsible for processing motions and other requests from stakeholders.
You will assist with reviewing evidence for appeals, entering attorney protection requests, and updating the attorney database.
You will document files and maintain records within the agency database.
You will assist with reserving hearing sites statewide.
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
