About This Role FiberTel is hiring a Project Assistant for our Springville, UT office. Entry‑level position performing administrative tasks to support the Project Manager in customer account management and job tracking.
Responsibilities
Process account billing and invoicing in a timely manner
Communicate with customers via phone or email as needed
Update job information in the customer’s tracking system
Upload and monitor job information and progress
Coordinate project timelines with internal departments
Monitor project timelines and deadlines
Accommodate updates and changes to project schedules
Document billing processes and maintain records
Assist with other administrative duties as necessary
Qualifications
Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check
Effective communication skills with customers and employees
Associate’s degree in relevant field (preferred)
Prior construction experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and applicable engineering programs
Strong written and oral communication abilities
Valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain required license
Working Conditions This role involves both office and field environments with occasional exposure to noise and hazards. The job typically uses standard office equipment and may require traveling to client sites or vehicle check‑outs.
Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling items, talking or hearing; occasional climbing stairs or ladders. Must occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
