Job Summary
Responsible for the supervision of the receiving department. Ensures the receipt and disposition of merchandise and inventory in the club, including processing paperwork, verifying merchandise, comparing receipts against purchase orders, and checking for damaged products or concealed shortages. Makes sure policies and procedures are followed within the department.

Club Standards
Lead teams to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
Define and model GOLD‑Grand opening look with accurate signage and a clean, organized environment.

Acquire deep knowledge of key metrics and reporting for club and department performance.
Drive performance and profitability using reporting to identify trends and opportunities.
Anticipate breakdowns and correct processes before negative impacts.
Communicate the connection between operational performance and financial targets.
Primary Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Maintain daily operations of the receiving department, matching inventory against purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
Process inbound and outbound shipments and ensure accurate pricing and signage.
Utilize RF guns when receiving merchandise.
Ensure all receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
Separate pallets and verify correct location for selling or non‑selling inventory.
Supervise receivers and/or receiving clerks, mentor team members, and report issues to management.
Communicate with Logistics and coordinate delivery schedules.
Complete department self‑audit with detail and accuracy.
Generate receiving documents and daily reports.
Secure receiving doors and check in visitors and vendors.
Inspect bags, backpacks, and lunch boxes leaving the building.
Assign truck door locations and secure vehicles while unloading.
Ensure safety equipment (dock restraint system, alarm, seals) is operational.
Verify sealing integrity of all trucks and distributed loads.
Monitor high‑shrink merchandise and remove at end of day.
Confirm Direct Store Delivery quantities are processed correctly.
Execute merchandise protection on designated items.
Validate paperwork for all outgoing back‑door merchandise.
Operate compactor and cardboard baler and secure equipment.
Maintain all club policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned, including rotating through other departments.
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this role.
Qualifications
Forklift operator required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Prior experience in a big‑box receiving environment preferred.
Computer skills preferred.
At least 18 years of age.
Job Conditions
Majority of time spent moving continuously on hard surfaces; bending, climbing, crawling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and may move heavier objects with assistance.
Typical environment includes machinery and loud equipment; occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position is $19.25 per hour and may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications.
