Facilities Maintenance Technician (IND3)
Marathon Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team. This is a hands‑on role supporting facility repairs, equipment maintenance, grounds upkeep, and special events in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Must pass a comprehensive background check
Job Details Shifts Available:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with potential overtime)
Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with potential overtime)
Pay Rate:
$19.85 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Perform general facility maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and concrete work.
Construct, renovate, and maintain structures and equipment.
Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting, HVAC systems, and other facility equipment.
Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, applying pesticides, and mulching.
Support Operations with deliveries, inventory management, and basic equipment maintenance.
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including electrical support and structure setup.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in facility maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or related trades).
Ability to perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions year‑round.
Valid driver’s license.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification within 1 year of hire.
SC Non‑Commercial Pesticide License (categories 3, 5, or 6) within 6 months of hire.
Must pass a comprehensive background check.
