Job Description and Duties
Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full‑time employee in Bargaining Unit (04), and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by (03) percent and will receive 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part‑time employees are subject to the same conditions as full‑time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time‑base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full‑time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, Human Resources, the Office Technician (Typing) provides excellent customer service in assisting staff, CCHCS employees, and the public in general. The incumbent performs a variety of clerical support tasks predominantly focusing on receptionist duties. The incumbent exercises a high degree of initiative, good judgement, and independence of action, using working knowledge of personnel rules, laws and regulations in handling inquiries and searching for information. This position is located in Human Resources (HR), which delivers innovative programs and services that attract, cultivate, and serve a diverse, highly‑qualified workforce.
