Welcome to Love's:
Production Operators in our corporate print shop are responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of CNC Router equipment, producing high-quality signage, displays, and custom print products using rigid plastics, aluminum, and roll materials. Operators ensure jobs are completed on schedule, consistently meeting department standards for quality and customer service. Daily equipment maintenance and workspace organization are essential.
Job Functions:
Operation and maintain CNC Router and ancillary equipment in a print shop environment
Prepare and setup production files in EnRoute
Review department job tickets and managed workflow to ensure all orders are completed on time
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and organized condition
Monitor job queues and output performance to ensure projects meet quality standards
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime
Conduct quality control checks and create hard copy proofs for internal proofing
Maintain accurate records of work performed and product generated, utilizing internal job tickets and tracking systems
Ensure consistency of database information, file structure and archiving
Collaborate with print shop team members to coordinate production schedules and resolve issues
Communicate job status and potential delays to management
Follow all safety procedures and company policies related to equipment operation and material handling
Experience and Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience working with digital or offset printing/finishing equipment
Experience working with rigid and roll materials, custom finishing including packaging, mounting, and trimming
Strong understanding of printing operation and maintenance
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in relevant software and technology
Prior experience operating CNC Router equipment preferred, training available for qualified candidates
Familiarity with EnRoute or similar CNC software is a plus
Skills and Physical Demands:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong organization skills
Flexible and self-motivated to take on additional tasks
Must be a team player that is detail-orientated and thorough in completing work tasks
Ability to safely operate CNC machinery and power tools
Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 100 pounds
Requires normal range of hearing and vision
Shift work is common, as is overtime in order to meet deadlines
Adaptability to changing priorities in a print shop environment
