Vice President of Clinical Operations Physical Therapy | Digital-First Healthcare Platform

Overview We are a high-growth, digitally enabled physical therapy organization on track for approximately

$70M in annual revenue , with a

clear and aggressive strategy to double the business within the next three years . We are seeking a

Vice President of Clinical Operations

to lead, scale, and protect the clinical backbone of the organization.

This leader will own clinical excellence, operational scalability, compliance, and clinician performance across a growing multi-site and digital care platform. The ideal candidate is a

licensed clinician , a proven operator, and a strong people leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical & Operational Leadership Own and scale all clinical operations across in-person and digital care delivery models. Establish and maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices that drive outcomes, efficiency, and consistency. Partner with executive leadership to align clinical strategy with growth, revenue, and margin objectives. Lead clinical workforce planning to support rapid organic and acquisitive growth.

Scaling & Growth Execution Build scalable clinical infrastructure to support

doubling revenue within three years . Standardize workflows, SOPs, and performance management systems across locations and virtual care platforms. Support integration of new sites, clinicians, and digital capabilities while maintaining quality and compliance.

Digital Care, PHI & Compliance Serve as the clinical leader for a

largely digital care model , ensuring safe, compliant, and effective delivery of services. Own HIPAA/PHI standards, clinical documentation integrity, and regulatory compliance across all platforms. Partner with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure systems, tools, and workflows meet regulatory and security requirements. Stay ahead of evolving healthcare regulations and digital health compliance standards.

Quality, Outcomes & Performance Define and track clinical KPIs, patient outcomes, clinician productivity, and quality metrics. Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and evidence-based care. Ensure audit readiness and proactively mitigate clinical, regulatory, and operational risk.

People Leadership & Culture Lead, mentor, and develop regional and site-level clinical leaders. Attract, retain, and develop top-tier clinical talent in a competitive market. Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and patient-first care aligned with company values.

Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist (required)

— active and in good standing. 10+ years of progressive clinical and operational leadership experience within physical therapy or a related healthcare services environment. Demonstrated success scaling clinical operations in a

high-growth, multi-site and/or digital healthcare organization . Strong understanding of

PHI, HIPAA, digital care delivery, and regulatory compliance . Experience building and managing KPI-driven clinical organizations. Proven ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and rapid growth. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across clinical, operational, and corporate teams.
