KOTEITSP Inc. is hiring: Automotive HIL and Simulation Tester in Torrance

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Automotive SIL/HIL/Simulation testing Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing Hardware In The Loop and ADAS simulation software for real-time vehicle control systems. This position requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, real-time data processing, and vehicle control algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace: Our office in LA

Language: English/Japanese is a plus

Experience: With SIL/HIL/ADAS test experience.

Tasks:

1) Understand functional requirement and create required test cases.

2) Familiar with testing tools used in the automotive industry

3) Mainly use ADAS/AD ECU.

4) Replay the collected data in HIL environment, play the raw camera data, inject them to ECU to simulate the test scenarios and test vehicle behavior.

5) Generate test results and reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in testing procedures and methodology.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and microcontrollers.
• Optionally AI/ML skills for testing automation.
• Strong understanding of vehicle control systems and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with software defined vehicles.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and protocols.
• Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
• Previous experience with OEMs and/or Tier 1.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
