Role Description This is a PRN on-site role for a Registered Nurse based in Indianapolis, IN. The RN will provide comprehensive home-based patient care, including monitoring patient vitals, administering IV medications (antibiotics to IVIG), and collaborating with healthcare teams to implement care plans. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and administering all medications per prescriber order.
Qualifications
Competence in patient care, including monitoring vital signs before, during, and after infusion, and performing physical assessments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and family education.
ficiency in maintaining accurate medical records with charting.
Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams to implement effective treatment plans.
Current RN license in Indiana and compliance with continuing education requirements.
1 year nursing experience in acute care or home infusion with proficiency in IV starts, port access, lab draws, and PICC line dressing changes.
Active BLS certification, current driver’s license, and insurance.
