Industrial Manufacturing Facility has openings for electrical maintenance personnel.
Shift Details: - 2nd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm - 3rd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30 am to 7:00 am Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. - Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. - Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. - Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. - Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replace switches and fuses, and splice and insulate wires. - Read and understand blueprints and one-line drawings. - Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment. - Work involves electrical equipment associated with building infrastructure, not manufacturing equipment, including monthly PM checks, lighting, switches, outlets, parking lights, sump pumps, overhead dock doors, etc. Experience Required : - Must have a minimum of 7 years of verifiable industrial experience or a Journeyman’s card. - A Master Electrician’s license or similar qualification is also acceptable. - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate. - Do not apply if you do not meet these requirements. Physical Demands : - Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. - Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. - After a 640-hour probation period, employee will receive a comprehensive benefits package including free medical, dental, life insurance, and vision, paid time off, 14 holidays, 401K with employer matching, and opportunities for promotion.
