Responsibilities
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for landscaping and design-build field positions, from job posting through onboarding.
Conduct initial candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions in collaboration with hiring managers.
Communicate with candidates in both English and Spanish, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience throughout the recruitment process.
Draft and post engaging, bilingual job advertisements on job boards, social media, and local community platforms.
Monitor job ad performance and adjust outreach strategies to maximize candidate reach and engagement.
Build and maintain relationships with local workforce agencies, trade schools, and Spanish-speaking communities to develop a strong talent pipeline.
Develop and promote employee referral programs to encourage internal participation in recruitment efforts.
Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reporting.
Stay current on safety standards and integrate them into recruitment and onboarding practices.
Provide clear explanations of job expectations, schedules, and safety requirements to candidates and new hires.
Support new hires during onboarding and gather feedback to continuously improve the recruitment process.
Forecast staffing needs for peak landscaping seasons and coordinate with operations to align hiring timelines with project schedules.
Develop strategies for rapid ramp‑up and retention during high‑demand periods.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
Experience recruiting for construction, landscaping, or skilled trades roles.
Strong sourcing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work effectively in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Experience recruiting hourly field workers (preferred).
Familiarity with seasonal hiring strategies (preferred).
Strong community networking skills (preferred).
