Holman’s upfitting division has a great opportunity for an

Installation Mechanic

to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Pay: $22 per hour

Important skills: electrical wiring, hydraulics, welding, mechanical knowledge

Must be able to provide basic hand and power tools

From custom orders to entire fleets, Holman designs, manufactures, and installs equipment for a wide variety of customers, trades, and industries. We have solutions for service bodies, mechanic bodies, platform bodies, dump bodies, gooseneck bodies, light‑duty trucks, and vans. We install ladder racks, partitions, truck‑mounted welders and generators, floor liners, shelving, cranes, and other electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic equipment.

What will you do?

Primary job function is installing new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles

Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints

Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment

Test installed parts prior to final inspection

Verify all line items have been completed on the work order

What are we looking for?

2‑4 years of previous electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience

Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools

Ability to understand electrical schematics

Ability to understand 12 V circuits

Ability to troubleshoot problems

Some welding experience preferred

Experience with hydraulics preferred

Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions

Must be able to provide basic tools
