We are looking for a process-focused Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Warren, Michigan facility. This position is designed for someone who takes initiative, drives improvement, and builds systems that scale. You will play an active role in optimizing how our warehouse, logistics, and administrative teams operate to achieve greater efficiency, accuracy, and growth.
What You’ll Do
Review and improve existing operational workflows to increase speed and reduce waste.
Lead process optimization projects that enhance productivity and lower costs.
Oversee daily operations in warehouse management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
Manage inventory control, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure consistency and reliability.
Develop, document, and implement new standard operating procedures that support continuous improvement.
Track and analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for better performance.
Coach and motivate team members to achieve measurable results and adopt best practices.
Partner with sales, customer service, and finance teams to align operations across the business.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company standards while fostering an environment of accountability and growth.
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Math, or equivalent experience.
Five years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management.
Demonstrated success in improving processes and implementing lean practices.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and guide teams effectively.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with ERP experience preferred.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
