Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and mission‑driven Logistician with prior military experience to support and manage end‑to‑end logistics operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in supply chain coordination, asset management, transportation, and operational planning, with the ability to perform in fast‑paced, high‑accountability environments. This role leverages military logistics expertise to ensure efficient movement, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and resources in alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics operations including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
Manage inventory control, asset accountability, and lifecycle tracking of materials and equipment
Analyze supply requirements and forecast demand to prevent shortages or overstock
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third‑party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery
Develop and maintain logistics documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
Support contingency planning and operational readiness activities
Utilize logistics management systems, ERP platforms, or military‑equivalent systems to track and report logistics data
Apply risk management and problem‑solving skills to resolve logistical challenges quickly and effectively
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Prior U.S. military service with logistics‑related experience (e.g., Supply, Transportation, Maintenance, or Operations roles)
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations coordination
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics or inventory systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in dynamic environments
Must possess valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent military experience)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or similar)
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Experience transitioning military logistics practices to civilian or commercial environments
Active or previously held security clearance (if applicable)
Ability to work extended 12‑hour shifts for long durations during deployments
