Company Description
The 500 Club Golf Course is a daily fee public facility, privately owned. The facility is comprised of an 18 hole championship golf course, 9 hole executive course, driving range, casual dining area, and wedding venue.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Outside Service Manager at The 500 Club, located in northwest Phoenix, Arizona. The Outside Service Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the golf car fleet, cleaning and staging golf cars, assisting guests with their golf equipment, maintaining a clean and fully stocked driving range, and ensuring all cars are properly fueled and in working order.
Additional responsibilities include supporting golf course operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and assisting the golf staff as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to manage the overall outside golf operation, stays aware of all activities, and knows where to step in to support the team-being in the right place at the right time.
Experience Required
Outside Service experience
Prior manager experience preferred
Essential Responsibilities
Must be able to lift and carry golf bags (up to 40 lbs)
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Must have a driver's license, permit, or some type of strong driving experience
Must be flexible with hours and available on weekends and holidays
Weekly work scheduling of outside service staff
Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner
Supervise all outside service staff members
Oversee daily setup and breakdown of the golf car fleet, practice areas, and bag drop
Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to all guests
Train and mentor team members on proper procedures and service standardsMaintain cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the cart barn, staging area, and practice facilities
Manage car fleet maintenance, repairs, and fueling schedule
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Maintain inventory of towels, range baskets, seed/sand bottles, scorecards, range balls, staff uniforms
Support special events, tournaments, and outings by coordinating logistics and staffing
Enforce all club policies, rules, and safety procedures
