Termite Technician – Jc Ehrlich Join Jc Ehrlich, part of Rentokil, to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms as a Termite Technician. The role involves inspections, prevention, and treatment services to provide peace of mind and comfort for our customers.

Responsibilities

Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behavior.

Perform termite treatment services safely in accordance with company guidelines and standard practices.

Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.

Communicate to the customer critical conditions conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications needed.

Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.

Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.

Complete production forms documenting services provided.

Interact with customers and explain services provided.

Essential Job Functions

Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.

Prepare the job site for treatment.

Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders.

Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces.

General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus.

Ability to work on roofs and high areas.

Regularly move, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator; work regularly in confined spaces and narrow aisles.

Requirements

Clean shaven face (required for rebreather use).

High school diploma or GED.

At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.

Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).

Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure.

Pay Hourly: $18.00 – $20.40 (may vary by location, skills, education, and experience). Total earnings could be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment.
