Retail Service Specialist3> The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution on customer service programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.

Ensure the is answered according to company policy.

Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.

Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger.

Process retail customer returns and exchanges in an efficient and friendly manner, issue refunds accurately using the correct payment methods, and correctly stage returned merchandise in the returns area.

Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store.

Communicate Zipline messages and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.

Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, with changes/deviations approved by a member of management, and that team members clock in/out according to company policy.

Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming security alarms, and checking/securing locked delivery vehicles parked in a designated area.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills / Education / Knowledge / Experience / Abilities Required:

Strong communication skills.

Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Desired:

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.

Automotive systems and repair knowledge.

ASE Certification.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
