Responsibilities
Providing ongoing individual and group psychotherapy and addiction counseling services for clients.
Implementing policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services and conformity to regulations and statutes.
Conducting assessments, developing and implementing person‑centered treatment plans, assessing crisis needs, and providing client advocacy and related work as assigned.
Managing electronic health record entries, including treatment plans, case notes, and discharges.
Conducting diagnostic and DOT assessments, including required paperwork.
Participating in team meetings, staffing, and supervision.
Participating in the after‑hours mobile and on‑call crisis system.
Providing crisis management counseling services to individuals and groups.
Operating and using standard office equipment and position‑specific software.
Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, other departments, and the general public.
Experience and Qualifications
Master's degree in marriage/family therapy, professional counseling, social work, or related field.
Extensive experience counseling in behavioral health, substance use disorders, marital and family well‑being, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possession of a Substance Use Disorder certification and a Marriage/Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, or Social Work certification upon hire.
Valid driver's license in the State of Wisconsin.
