Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $450,000.00/yr
Opening Summary A nationally respected law firm seeks an Immigration Partner to lead its employment-based immigration practice in New York City. This senior role offers leadership, client ownership, and growth opportunities advising multinational employers on complex corporate immigration matters.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic counsel on employment-based immigration matters, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories
Advise multinational and domestic corporate clients on immigration strategy, workforce planning, and compliance
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and guide clients on risk and opportunity
Lead, mentor, and develop attorneys and legal professionals within the immigration group
Collaborate across practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions
Maintain and expand client relationships while driving targeted business development initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business immigration law
Demonstrated success managing a client portfolio and delivering high-level client service
Strong leadership experience, including mentoring and team development
Proven ability to grow a practice through networking, referrals, and relationship-building
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Admission in New York or New Jersey preferred, based on office location
