Job Details We’re seeking a detail-driven Estimator to join our Elgin, IL office. In this role, you will prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy highway, bridge, and site development projects.
Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications.
Analyze material and labor requirements.
Secure vendor pricing and negotiate rates.
Develop bid proposals and cost breakdowns.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with budget and schedule.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with DOT or municipal projects.
Proficiency in estimating software.
Background in civil or construction management (preferred).
