Job Summary
System Engineer Field Support Senior - Level 3 Location: Greater Las Vegas, Nevada. This role supports advanced mission systems, including aircraft such as U-2, SR-71 Blackbird, F-22 Raptor, F-117 Nighthawk, and F-35 Lightning II. The position requires a Top Secret clearance, chemical warfare training, and the ability to travel to austere remote locations. What You Will Be Doing
Field Support Engineers provide technical advice and guidance on installation, configuration, and enhancement of Lockheed Martin technical products. Key responsibilities include: Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform fault isolation on complex computer and communications equipment. Analyze system operation anomalies and document resolution to identify failure trends. Install, upgrade, and modify system software and hardware assemblies. Provide customer training and support, communicating technical guidance to on‑site clients. Track and report engineering and logistics support activities to Program Management and Customer. The role requires proficiency in network‑based communications systems, routers, virtual systems, relational databases, and Windows and UNIX operating systems. Basic Qualifications
Network and computer systems administration knowledge. Experience troubleshooting networks and computers. Hardware and software experience. Active Top Secret clearance with current SBI. Desired Skills
Experience operating / maintaining Support Equipment. Knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support concepts. Bachelor’s or above degree. Network Administration and Installation. Engineering Technician, Operations Engineering, Remote Sensing, UAV Technology. Avionics Support, Backup & Recovery, Technical report writing, Security+. Cost, Schedule and Quality management supporting MRO activities. Willingness to travel, work any shift, weekends and holidays to meet customer requirements. Security Clearance Statement
