Document Management Specialist - Onsite (IN)
This role is based out of our Fishers, IN office and requires working on-site Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch. Next start date will be in January 2026.
Summary: The Specialist I, Doc Mgmt will oversee the process of imaging loan documents into the Freedom Mortgage Electronic Document Management System.
Essential Job Functions:
Sort incoming mail.
Review documents for accuracy, update system with received information.
Scan images and process for automated indexing.
Sort and prepare documents for shipping.
Create and manage reports.
Filing and organizing stored documents.
Assist with special projects, as needed.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Other Related Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is an individual contributor, has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to comprehend and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graph.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Customer Service Relationships:
Assesses and diffuses problem situations and requires influencing others to reach consensus. Requires tact and diplomacy to handle difficult customer relationships. Explores alternatives and creative solutions to meeting the needs of customers.
Work Complexity:
Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes. Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents.
Physical Demands:
The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Typical interior office work environment, moderate noise level.
