Education
Bachelors degree in a related program/project management field or engineering.
Experience
Five (5) years in related field.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain an active DoD security clearance.
Must be familiar with the Patriot Missile System (PAC‑3, Development Test and Evaluation documentation, Flight Test Programs) and testing of weapon systems.
Desired Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with documented experience and program subject matter expertise.
Standard MS Office software including MS Access, database management, and SharePoint information management.
Skills Needed
Excellent computer skills.
Strong critical thinking abilities.
Duties
Make things happen with initiative and great customer service attitude.
Work directly with the Army customer and other organizations to plan, budget, and execute requirements.
Collaborate with the contract prime to provide technical subject matter expertise.
Lead and manage the team at WSMR in support of the US government customer.
Work on emerging and future DoD and other weapons systems for the Army.
Interact with coalition, allied militaries, and other guests at WSMR.
Design and execute test planning and manning requirements to validate functionality and quality of complex Army weapons systems (primarily missile) test requirements.
Lead and manage on‑site teams to support component, subsystem, and system‑level qualification testing workload allocations, resolve conflicts, assist with updates to milestone schedules, and ensure adequate and timely test support is available.
Establish, approve, and ensure compliance with all WSMR and Army policies and procedures including security and access monitoring.
Document and manage/store data and provide security assistance.
Provide specialized technical editing services in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Publish and distribute documents in accordance with strict security regulations and perform archival and retrieval documentation services using standard commercial software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Perform other tasks related to support for testing and fielding equipment to operational units.
Comments
Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required.
This position is contingent upon funding.
Annual salary: $124,000.00–$250,000.00. Location: Las Cruces, NM.
