Job Description
We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hardworking banquets team at the
Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel . Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!
Responsibilities
Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.
Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed.
Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages.
Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions.
Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws.
Maintain equipment in good condition.
Report on any shortages, damages or security issues.
Handle reasonable guest complaints/requests and inform others when required.
Job Details Job Type: Part-time On Call position; required to work at least 2 shifts per month, one including a PM event.
Requirements
Ability to work independently and remain motivated.
Smile.
Proven working experience in relevant field.
Helpful with customer service.
Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail.
