Job Summary Provides leadership, direction, and management to FSP 360 functional teams. Provides training, consultation and oversees quality related to operating activities of assigned staff to ensure project deliverables are met. May liaise with other departments or business units to optimize resources and establish harmonized clinical operations practices, processes, and tools. Acts as an SME where country/region/functional knowledge is key.

Customer Delivery and Success

Develops and fosters strong, collaborative relationships with customers and escalates serious issues as required.

Ensures delivery and compliance with agreed‑upon KPIs, analyzes performance and quality metrics, and executes mitigation and remediation plans for non‑compliance.

Manages headcount, reviews workloads, and ensures projects are adequately staffed; resolves resourcing conflicts and collaborates with Talent Acquisition teams.

Communicates and manages customer issues through assigned escalation channels.

Ensures quality and adherence to SOP/WIs, federal and local guidelines, and ICH GCPs; provides regular compliance updates.

Conducts oversight visits as required for Clinical Research Associates.

Maintains system updates and ensures compliance with relevant procedures and practices.

Business Impact

Partners with stakeholders to drive and oversee customer growth strategies and supports new project awards during proposals and Bid Defense processes.

Shares best practices and lessons learned across the business unit to support the overall FSP 360 operating model.

Supports BU revenue targets by assessing program delivery and developing staff plans.

Serves as a company representative at professional meetings or seminars.

People Leadership

Manages team members’ performance through the Syneos Health process; mentors and motivates at individual and managerial levels.

Ensures staff training guidelines are followed and records are maintained.

Provides administrative oversight for HR processes, timecards, and expense reports.

Supports professional development through coaching and task delegation.

Promotes team engagement, retention, and turnover rates.

Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through inclusive behaviors and bias management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent with extensive clinical research experience and prior leadership exposure.

Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong time‑management, technical, and organizational abilities.

Creative problem‑solver, self‑motivated, flexible, and customer‑centric.

Strong leadership skills and understanding of multi‑functional workflows.

Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Salary Range The base salary range represents the low and high of Syneos Health’s range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on qualifications and experience.
