Permanent Site Engineer – Major Multi-Phase Commercial Campus – Long Ashton, Bristol £Competitive (guide £55k–£70k+ dependant on experience) + Full Package + Genuine 5–10 Year Pipeline

A rare, single-position opportunity has opened for an experienced Site Engineer to join the permanent team on one of the South West’s largest and longest-running commercial campus developments – a greenfield, multi-phase scheme in Long Ashton, Bristol.

Enabling works are live now, main construction phases commence autumn 2025 and the forward workload is secured for 5–10 years on one site.

The Role Site-based, reporting to the Senior Engineer / Project Manager. You will be responsible for all day-to-day setting‑out, QA, surveys, material approvals, RFIs and technical support across a varied scope that includes:

Piled retaining walls and deep RC basements

Major civils & infrastructure (drainage, roads, attenuation, bridges, services)

RC frames and concrete structures

Off‑site manufactured timber superstructure systems

About You

Currently working as a Site Engineer with a main contractor (Tier 1 or reputable Tier 2)

Fully proficient with robotic total station & GPS (Leica/Trimble) and digital setting‑out

Strong experience in any of the above disciplines – particularly basements, infrastructure or RC structures

Degree or HND qualified

CSCS card (Black or White preferred), SMSTS advantageous

Looking for genuine long‑term stability rather than the next short‑term contract
