A rewarding opportunity is available for a registered nurse with telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care in a specialized cardiac unit. This role involves working predominantly night shifts in a fast‑paced environment, caring for patients requiring close monitoring of cardiac rhythms and complex medication administration.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high‑quality nursing care to telemetry patients, including post‑procedure management involving TR Bands
Administer and monitor cardiac drips such as Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem
Participate in initiation processes for Tikosyn and Sotalol therapies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care planning and delivery
Float to various acute care units as clinical needs arise
Adhere to facility protocols and utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system
Attend a structured orientation combining in‑person and virtual training sessions to ensure smooth integration into the team
Qualifications and Experience
Current Kansas RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience; 2–5 years preferred
Experience with cardiac procedures and telemetry monitoring systems
Familiarity with cardiac medication administration and emergency cardiac protocols
