Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for a Behavioral Therapist, located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Behavioral Therapist will work directly with children, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Daily responsibilities include observing behaviors, engaging with children in structured activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with parents and team members to ensure success for each child in meeting their developmental goals.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis techniques
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and engage effectively with children
Understanding of psychological principles and experience working with children, especially those on the autism spectrum
Eager to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate progress with families and colleagues
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field preferred
Certification in ABA or related behavioral therapy methodologies is a plus
Relevant experience in implementing behavioral intervention plans is highly desirable
