Job Overview Children's Trust is seeking a Home Visiting Training Specialist. This role contributes to the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training content for the home visiting workforce as part of the Children’s Trust Training Institute. The specialist will lead curriculum development, facilitate training across multiple modalities, and provide content expertise to internal staff and contracted trainers.

Job requires a hybrid schedule: remote, occasional in‑field, and time at the Children’s Trust Boston office.

Responsibility Summary

Develop and deliver training on evidence‑based home visiting models and state, federal, and accreditation requirements.

Facilitate sessions in virtual, in‑person, hybrid, and LMS‑based formats; adapt content to diverse learners and languages.

Lead curriculum design for new and existing home visiting trainings, creating objectives, competencies, and assessment tools.

Ensure training materials comply with Healthy Families Massachusetts policies, Healthy Families America accreditation, and Massachusetts Home Visiting Initiative requirements.

Provide quality assurance, evaluation, and continuous improvement of training content and delivery.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate training into practice and program implementation.

Develop and support communities of practice and ongoing professional development opportunities for learners.

Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records, updating LMS content, scheduling calendars, and providing feedback to management.

Qualifications

Three years of experience in evidence‑informed home visiting.

Knowledge of child abuse/neglect prevention and family support.

Experience delivering training to diverse audiences and developing curriculum.

Strong adult learning principles and ability to create engaging training.

Proficiency in LMS, instructional design, and training evaluation.

Excellent oral and written communication, attention to detail, and data analysis skills.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Ability to maintain accurate records and comply with laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

Association for Infant Mental Health Endorsement.

Experience with evidence‑informed home visiting training certifications (e.g., FAN, Foundations for Family Support).

Instructional design or LMS experience.

License, Certification and Other Requirements

Valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
