Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Scientist to join its MedTech Electrophysiology Medical Affairs team in Irvine, California. The role supports product development across the JJMT EP portfolio and fosters cross‑functional collaboration. Job Responsibilities

Execute the clinical strategy to support product characterization and design features. Develop and execute product and/or procedural protocols for evidence generation. Collaborate with evidence generation colleagues to support regulatory approval or clearance for new and existing products. Provide scientific and test method expertise during study design development. Offer preclinical insight to development teams for risk assessment. Qualifications

Education BS with at least 6 years, MS with at least 4 years, or PhD with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Nursing, or Biological Science. Experience Understanding of cardiac anatomy and medical devices. Minimum 3 years of work on preclinical models, with chronic models preferred. Advanced technical writing skills, emphasizing data organization, presentation, and publication. Knowledge of catheter laboratory equipment and operating room procedures. Experience working with global cross‑functional teams. Ability to work in high‑stress environments with minimal supervision. Proven project management skills and success managing multiple projects. Collaboration skills to work effectively in matrix environments. Required Skills

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $109,000.00 – $174,800.00. Benefits

Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year Holiday pay – 13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member; 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
