Job Overview
Data Management Analyst 5 – contract position (W2). The role focuses on data oversight, governance, and management to support business initiatives. Requires experience with GCP, cloud migration, strong SQL skills, and 8+ years in data management or business analysis. Location: Minneapolis, MN.
Responsibilities
Drive oversight, governance, and management of critical data to support business needs, initiatives, and strategies.
Consult with data product, data integrity, technology, and business partners to set standards, policies, and practices for data flow, framework, access, documentation, quality and remediation.
Develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Data Management.
Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering long‑term, large‑scale solutions.
Provide expertise to Wells Fargo senior leadership on innovative Data Management business solutions.
Strategically engage with Wells Fargo personnel.
Qualifications
8+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience (or equivalent).
GCP and cloud migration experience; experience migrating legacy data to cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).
Strong SQL proficiency, writing simple to complex queries, particularly in GCP BigQuery.
Understanding of GCP architecture, data processes, and data architecture.
Hands‑on experience with validation processes during migration to cloud platforms.
Ability to work independently with minimal handholding, manage priorities, and deliver in a fast‑paced environment.
Self‑leadership and work direction skills.
